The Swinburne Esports club was officially founded at Swinburne University of Technology in 2017, was created by a group of Swinburne students who shared the passion for competitive gaming. Initially being focused on popular title such as Overwatch and League of Legends, the club quickly expanded to include a wide variety of games and activities, from casual meetups and gaming sessions to competitive tournaments and community events, and most recently gaining the opportunity to open their own esports lounge on the Swinburne campus.
